BCP Update!

Yesterday was another fun-filled day teaching the Beyond the Color Purple Quilt class. I cannot believe how much progress all the ladies have made over the last few months. Some of them are months ahead; several are starting to stitch their center medallion block. That means that they have completed all 16 embroidered blocks (18" square) and are starting on the last block to be stitched.

The center has a lot of involved embroidery, so it will take a few weeks to get every design stitched. Then there are decorative stitches and borders to add before the quilt is ready to put together.

Sometime I will have to get some photos of the different colors that everyone has chosen!
