Latte Quilt Fabrics & Colors

Here are some fabric and color options for the Latte Quilt. As described in the book, the fabrics that are used are a tan/cream polyester satin and unbleached muslin. Parts of the quilt use the right and wrong side of that satin that gives the fabric a different look and adds texture to the quilt.

Keep in mind that colors look different on a various computer screens rather than seeing the actual fabric swatches. All the fabric colors blend together well, even if the images look slightly different. Also, keep in mind that the photos of the blocks are taken at different times, so lighting conditions change which accounts for the difference in colors.

Lamour satin is a delustered polyester satin with just touch of sheen that has the body and weight needed for machine embroidery. The Fairy Frost line of fabric is a 100% cotton fabric with a marbled look with just a touch of sheen. The Fairy Frost blends beautifully with the polyester satin.

Cloud color line - this is a blended light green/blue color with just a touch of silver.

Light Green:

Light green color line - this is a light green like a mint color. The satin color says lime,
but it is more of a mint/lime color than lime.

Light Blue:

Light blue color line - this is a light blue...the satin looks darker in the image than it actually is. The light blue texture in the fairy frost picks up the blue satin.

Medium Blue:

Light lilac color line - a light lilac color with just a tiny touch of pink.

Victorian Lilac:

Victorian Lilac color line - this is a dark dusty lavender color. It's not a plum purple; more of a deeper lavender color with a dusty touch to it. The Fairy Frost has lights and darks that blends with the satin.
