This quilt uses the MarJen for Error magazine by Jenny Haskins, a Creative Expressions Special Edition. It is out-of-print,
but there are copies available here.

I created my quilt from the Passion for Pansies Collection by Exclusively Quilters.

MarJen for Error Embroidered Quilt

The MarJen for Error Quilt is one I have wanted to make for the last several years! I am so pleased and excited about the color combination and the classes I am teaching on it!

This quilt has 15 blocks. 8 are the embroidered fan blocks with a floral design in the center and fussy cut fan corner. The other 7 are dresden plate blocks, which consist of fussy cut and non-fussy cut fan pieces. This was a fun techniques to learn and stitch! Decorative stitches are in each and every block. And of course each block is stippled for the quilting in it!

There are two long vertical strips of fabric that have floral embroidery designs trailing down. It is the same design, but turned and rotated to create a continuous line of embroidery. This is easy to do and adds so much to the effect of the quilt!

The outer borders are completely quilted with free motion loops stitched on the fabric. Here is a closer image:
