Mail time is another favorite event at camp! Every
evening before supper, the mail is handed out. Many of the campers (3rd-8th
grades) will write letters home during the week and get many letters in
return.
I was able to incorporate several mail
and writing designs in this block. The applique photos and address are
surrounded with a satin stitch with a textured edge like a postage stamp. A
big blue fabric envelope in the center with a white heart button actually
opens and can hold letters inside. I digitized an envelope design for the
cascading envelopes on each side of the fabric envelope.
